Betandslots.com experts provide punters with the Banker of the day, the betting tip which has the most chances to be a winning one, regardless of the odds bookies are offering. But before we go there, let’s explain what is a Banker bet. We can select bankers only in system bets. If selected as part of a system bet, they must be successful, otherwise, the entire bet fails. Therefore punters have to be very careful when selecting their banker bets.
So, when players select a banker, it is the one they are most confident with, the one they think is most likely to win. In order to select a banker, players need to make at least three selections in their betting slip. Let us see an example of football bankers.
Banker bet of the day
We select four matches from the Premier League to fill our football betting slip. Four teams that will win their encounters is our best bet with odds we find pretty fair. Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham and Manchester City. One option for us, is to select the standard accumulator bet. In order to win, all four of our selections have to be correct. If we want to be more flexible, we can use a system bet, in this scenario a Yankee bet, so it includes 6 doubles, 4 trembles and one accumulator bet.
In total 11 different bets. We need just two of our selections to be correct in order to win something back, right? Of course, selecting a system bet means that our wager cost will rise. And this is when you get help from the Banker bet! You can check our Bet of the Day section with goals tips, score tips, football tips, teams to score, over / under tips, and everything you need to know before placing your bet!
Football bankers explained
Selecting one of the above matches as a banker changes everything. First of all, in order for us to win something, the banker bet must be correct. This is why it is extremely important to make a research before selecting the one. The great thing about the modern world of football is that you can more often than not rely on the top teams to win their games. Liverpool won 32 of their 38 games in the 2019/20 Premier League season. That’s an 84% success rate.
Selecting a team like Liverpool for example as your daily banker bet, especially if they play against weaker opponents is a great strategy. Selecting Liverpool in the above example, as our banker bet, it means that our system becomes much cheaper and instead of 11 different bets, it now consists just 7 bets.
When selecting our standard match, the one we can’t afford to lose, different combinations of bets available with this selection will appear. Remember that your stake will be multiplied by the number of bets in each section. If you decide to bet €10 in each selection, it means the total cost of the bet in our example will be €110 if you won’t select a banker, reduced to €70 if you select one banker.

Can I select more than one banker bet?
Of course, you can select more than one banker from your selections, but note that in order to win, all of the selected banker bets must be successful. If just one fails, the whole bet will also fail. In the above scenario, let’s assume we select Manchester City alongside Liverpool as our banker bet. Having two bankers, the available combinations alter. Now we have just three combinations and if we bet €10 on each, our total stake would be reduced to €30.
Selecting more than one football banker bets is something you have to think carefully. You must be extremely confident on our selections.
Banker of the day
As a general rule of thumb, you should only select matches you are confident where your selection will succeed as banker bets. In the above example of a four-team coupon, we would only select one as a banker bet. However, if you have let’s say a nine or ten team accumulator, then it can be a good idea to have a second, or even a third banker, especially if you want to keep the cost of the total bet down. Most bookmakers allow you to place up to a minimum of 14 selections (up to 20 in some occasions) in your banker bet slip of which you can choose up to 12 bankers. However, winning a bet with so many selections isn’t something that happens very often, so placing a bet with so many bankers isn’t something we would advise.
This is also where the critical point lies: Banker bets, however safe they may seem, still contain a residual risk. Even the biggest favourite can go wrong on a bad day and bring the bank to collapse – and consequently the whole tip.
Because even if the system bet works out, the bet counts as a complete failure if you lose the bank tip. In principle, it is possible to select several bankers in one system. However, the risk of pounding the entire bet increases even further.
Are Banker bets today effective?
The difference between an accumulator bet and a banker bet is that in an Acca bet if any selection lets you down, you lose your bet. With banker bets, this doesn’t necessarily mean the same. As long as your banker bet is a winning one, your bet remains active even if you lose one of your other selections. That’s why you have to select wisely your banker bet and make your research.
The best bookmakers offer odds on up to 50 sports and special bets on Politics, Awards (movies, music, etc) and TV Specials. Any market you select as part of a system bet can include a banker. But, a bet must include at least three selections to accommodate the banker. So you can
Every coin has two sides, and banker bets have not only advantages but also disadvantages. The most noticeable disadvantage is actually obvious. Losing your banker means that you lose the entire system bet, regardless of the result of the remaining bet placements. If this one tip fails, the entire system has failed. This contradicts the actual idea of a system bet, which supposedly protects you against losing a combination due to a single lost bet.
Most bookmakers who have system bets in their portfolio also offer the option of a bank tip. With the big players in the industry banker bets are an integral part of the betting offer.
